The policy of African countries on the management of plastic bags is a central issue in terms of ecology and pollution. Some countries opt for a ban on their production and marketing while others implement recycling strategies.
In any case, plastic bag policy seems to be becoming increasingly important. South Africa and Rwanda were the pioneers in banning them. Many countries subsequently followed this movement, which became a real tidal wave on the continent. We are going to investigate the “Plastics Bag Scourge” in Benin, Cameroon and Rwanda.
