In 1960, in the Escale’s cave E. Bonifay et H. de Lumley discovered one of the oldest hearth of human. How many years ago did it date? Moreover, in 1965 in France H. de Lumley discovered in a building site some worked shingles by the human being. It seems that there are three main stages between human and fire : fire is a hostile element that man avoids, fire is collected and kept up by him and fire is created by man hand.
